I was born to play the violin

The violin was introduced to me in 3rd-grade music class. Among an array of other instruments, the violin stuck out because my best friend turned to me and said, “My sister plays the violin and she gets out of class and goes on a lot of field trips”. I kept this in mind when it was time to choose an instrument in 4th-grade. There has always been music in me and thanks to those field trips now I get to express it through the violin.
